Snow!! (and other things)
Yeah!! We had our first snow of the year last week. Poor Gus was in Jacksonville the night it snowed. I got a babysitter to do some grocery shopping and go to ballet class. By the time I was done grocery shopping (30 minutes) the snow was accumulating at a pretty quick rate! I decided not to head off to ballet class and it was a good thing because by the time I got back in the subdivision, my van was sliding on the hills! Good thing our babysitter lives close by. Callie was still awake when I got home and we went outside where she proceeded to EAT all the snow she could. That’s all she wanted to do! It was really cute.
The next morning she looked out the window and said “The snow still be there!!!!!” She was very excited. Gustav thought the ‘no’ was really neat until he was stuffed into his snow pants and gloves, then he cried the entire time. He thinks ‘no’ is better looked at then played with right now.
Normally I would have taken the day off from exercising, but that morning I had to drive to WORK! Yeah, I got a job teaching BodyStep at the BAC! I dragged the family to Atlanta a couple weekends ago to do the training and as an added bonus we got to see Grandma and Grandpa! The kids and Gus had a blast, I exercised for two days straight. Other than that, things are pretty much the same here. Gustav is learning to talk pretty well. He can imitate most words really well and has started putting two words together like “book go?” His FAVORITE word and toy is “Choo choo train” EVERYTHING is a choo choo train. There are no cars, trucks dolls or anything else. It’s all a choo choo train! He is such a sweet boy! He is starting to ‘run’ too, it’s really cute.
Callie just keeps getting bigger and bigger no matter what I do. She is eagerly looking forward to being 3 because she will get to have gum for the first time. She wants pink gum and she makes sure everybody knows that. She also wants a princess cake for her birthday. Good think Kroger makes it because I don’t know if I’m that talented.
That’s all my fingers have time for. Maybe I’ll try to find some more pics to post above this. Bye!
